This uncommon, decorative double hemispheric world map features ten panels of engraved scenes at the sides and bottom. The map shows limited detail with only major features noted. The map is surrounded by vignettes of the bounty of the countryside including rabbits, fruit and nuts, an eagle, and some military weapons. The panels shows ship battles, a land battle with Napoleon on horseback, and idyllic scenes of the countryside, including a fox hunt. Above the map is the large title panel with fancy scroll work. All is surrounded by a decorative scroll and vine border. This map has been offered for sale only two times in the last 30 years.

Also included with the map is a double-sided sheet of text describing the continents and countries of Europe.
