This portrait of President Abraham Lincoln, lithographed by Dominique Fabronius, is surrounded by the members of his cabinet at the beginning of his presidency, including:

Simon Cameron, Secretary of War
Salmon P. Chase, Secretary of the Treasury
William H. Seward, Secretary of State
Montgomery Blair, Postmaster General
Gideon Welles, Secretary of the Navy
Caleb B. Smith, Secretary of the Interior
Edward Bates, Attorney General

The portraits appear on a shield that symbolizes the Great Seal of the United States at the time, which was designed by Charles Thomson and William Barton. The lithograph is "Presented to the Subscribers of the Watchman & Reflector," which was a Baptist journal in the mid-19th century. Lithographed by John Henry Bufford and published by Elliot & White in Boston, with a facsimile signature of Ford, Olmstead & Co.
