A handsome map of the Marche region in central Italy along the Adriatic Sea. The capital of Ancona is shown centrally along the coastline, which extends from Rimini in the north to Sant' Angelo in the south, just shy of Pescara. The map is embellished with strapwork title cartouche and a moiré patterned sea. Latin text on verso.

Condition: B+

Attractive color with light toning, a few tiny holes in the image, and an old manuscript notation in bottom border. There is light scattered foxing primarily confined to blank margins and faint damp stains in bottom blank margin. There is an old paper repair in bottom margin on recto.
