This handsome map shows the Province of Cantabria, from the Pyrenees in the east to the Province of Asturia in the west. The map is adorned with two sailing ships in the Bay of Biscay and two strapwork cartouches. Latin text on verso.

References: Van der Krogt (Vol. I) #6010:1A.

Condition: B+

Excellent impression and color with very light toning and a 3.5" tear adjacent to the centerfold at top that has been professionally repaired. There is light scattered foxing primarily confined to the blank margins.
