This plan of Paris is drawn in a charming cartoon style. In addition to major sites such as the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, Notre Dame, and the Arc de Triomphe, the plan is dotted with illustrations that celebrate the City of Light's culture. A craftsman works on furniture along Boulevard Voltaire, students frolic in the Latin Quarter, an inmate breaks out of La Sante Prison, a couple dances north of the Boulevard de Clichy, and much more. The city's motto Fluctuat nec mergitur ("It floats and doesn't sink") appears beneath a ship in the title cartouche. An elegant compass rose adorns the bottom right corner. Drawn by Willy Landelle and published by Jacques-Petit.
