This map depicts the Theater of War in northern Europe, from southern Scandinavia extending to Budapest, Hungary in the south and to Minsk, Belarus in the east. Political boundaries, towns, and rivers are shown. The routes from Paris to cities throughout the region are also depicted, including numerous water routes. Adorned with a decorative title cartouche featuring symbols of weaponry. Engraved by J. van Lugtenburg. A French title appears above the map: "Carte Nouvelle pour Servir a l'Intilligence des Affaires des Couronnes du Nord…"

A dark impression with lovely original color, a few very faint stains, and two short professionally repaired centerfold separations in Sweden and in bottom blank margin.
