Very lovely, decorative map of Ireland oriented with north to the right. The map notes the four provinces of Leinster, Munster, Ulster and Connacht, as well as many counties, cities and towns, including Dublyn. The sea is stipple-engraved, features Mercator's distinctive calligraphy, and the map is topped with a decorative, banner-style cartouche. Latin text on verso.

References: Law p.19-20; Van der Krogt (Vol. I) #5900:1A.1.

Condition: B+

Excellent impression and color with a few small stains, professionally repaired centerfold separations at top and bottom, and two tiny tears in the image at bottom that have been archivally repaired. There are several stains in bottom blank margin, far from image.
