This is the rare and slightly smaller version of the Wytfliet map of the same title, published one year prior. The map covers Colombia, Panama and part of Venezuela. Several important colonial settlements are named and located, including Cartago, Victoria, Cartagena, and Panama City. Adorned with a decorative strapwork title cartouche at upper left. German text on verso.
