Detailed map of the area surrounding Boston, including the harbor and the regions extending to Cambridge in the west, Chelsea in the north, and Roxbury to the south. Shows good detail of Deer Island, Governor's Island, Long Island, Thompson's Island, and Noddle's Island. A table at bottom keys seven important locations in Boston including Beacon Hill, Fort Hill, and Faneuil Hall. Published in William Gordon's The History of Rise, Progress and Establishment of the Independence of the United States.
