This detailed map spans from the eastern end of the Arabian peninsula west to parts of Tibet and Myanmar. Many towns and cities are located in addition to rivers, mountains (including the Himalayas), roads, railroads, and deserts (including part of the Gobi). A key to the right of the title explains the color-coding that distinguishes between the divisions of British India. Printed by A. Chardon Jr. and engraved by Smith, Gerin, Rousset, and Fontaine.
