This densely engraved map shows portions of the Alsace and Lorraine regions in France. The Rhine river flows along the eastern edge of the map, with Strasboug on its western shore. The map extends south to Colmar and west to Charmes, just shy of Nancy. The map is filled with towns, roads, political boundaries, rivers, forested areas and topographical details.
