This finely engraved map set the standard for maps of the region for most of the 17th century. It is based largely on the work of Jacopo Gastaldi. The map covers northern Greece to the Gulf of Cataro, including the island of Corfu. The strapwork title cartouche is topped by a skull. Latin text on verso.

Attractive color with original margins, one spot of ink near Vlore (Valona), and very light, scattered foxing primarily confined to the blank margins. There are old, manuscript ink notations in northern Greece and in the blank margin at top right, as well as a centerfold separation confined to bottom blank margin.
