This bold map of Denmark and southern Sweden is engraved to show political divisions, rivers, marshes, shoals, forests, and towns. The northern parts of the Netherlands, Germany, and Poland appear as well. The decorative title cartouche features Diana, goddess of the hunt, with a quiver of arrows and animals running around her. Another cartouche encloses five distance scales. There is an alternate title running across the neatline at top: Le Royaume de Danemark, ou sont les Isles de Seelande et de Fyonie, le Duche de Sleswick, et les Dioeceses de Rypen, Aarhus, Alborg, Wiborg, dans la Presquisle de Iutlande.... Printed on two sheets that have been joined.

A nice impression and original outline color. Nearly the entire sheet has been damp stained, but the paper quality remains durable. There is light offsetting, including some color offsetting, and a short separation along the joint at bottom.
