This charming miniature map covers the northern part of Asia from the Black Sea to the Strait of Anian and the tip of Americae Pars. Numerous towns, rivers and mountain ranges are shown, and the Great Wall of China is also depicted. The majority of the maps for Bertius' geographical treatise were engraved by Jodocus Hondius Jr. after Mercator. French text on verso.
