A charming small map of Ireland with north oriented to the right. The shape and geography of the country is quite rudimentary, with cities focused primarily along the coastline. The map is adorned with fantastical sea monsters, a compass rose, and a decorative title cartouche. Engraved by Girolamo Porro and printed on a full sheet (8.3 x 11.6") of Italian text.

Condition: A

On watermarked paper with minor show-through of engraving on verso. An ink notation and some scattered foxing appear along the sheet's edges, well away from image.
