This sheet includes an elegant plan of Funchal, the capital and chief port of Madeira, as well as a map showing Madeira, Porto Santo, and part of the Savage Islands archipelago. Also shown is a plan of Goree Island, the Senegalese island associated with the Atlantic slave trade. Engraved by Andre.
