Decorative map spanning the northern part of Russia from Finland to just beyond the Jenisej River and south to the Volga River. Includes the cities of Jaroslavl, Niznij Novgorod, and Kazan. The map is fully engraved with mountains and forests and place names, particularly along the rivers. Large title cartouche surrounded by a scene of fur merchants and the queen. Engraved by Jan l'Huilier.
Lovely original color that has been partially refreshed, light soiling, a professionally repaired centerfold separation at bottom, and a faint damp stain that enters 1" into map at left. There are two small chips at left that have been professionally repaired, with a small amount of neatline replaced in facsimile.
