Handsome map engraved in Quad's bold style to depict the topography and forests. It shows the Russian Empire in Europe from the Mare Glaciale to the Black and Caspian Seas. Full stipple engraving in sea. Latin text on verso, published in 1608.

Condition: B+

A dark impression on watermarked paper with light toning along centerfold, light show-through of text on verso, and a tear that just enters border at bottom that has been repaired with old paper.
