Striking plan shows Vienna as it was in 1844. The plan is bordered by six vignettes that depict attractions such as the Hofburg Palace, the Theseus temple at the Volksgarten, and St. Stephan's Cathedral. Tables identifying notable sights and locations appear to the left and right of the city's layout, and an inset map shows Vienna's immediate surroundings.
