The borders of the Carolinas, Virginia, and Georgia extend to the Mississippi. Florida is divided into East and West Florida. There are several notes throughout, such as "Thus far the Mississipi has been ascended" and "Extensive meadows full of buffaloes". Texas is named Cenis and New Mexico.
