This attractive view of New Orleans shows numerous steamships and sailboats in the foreground along the shore of the Mississippi River with people and horse drawn carriages traveling along the promenade. The city itself is filled with buildings, churches and parks, while smaller vessels dot the background in Lake Pontchartrain. Published by F.C. Wentzel in Weissenburg, Germany.

Attractive color with a couple of tiny abrasions and one minute pinhole in the image only visible when held to light.
