This scarce Italian produced map shows Mexico in control of the Southwest and Texas. The Territory of Arkansas is shown in its largest extent. The United States continues to the Pacific Ocean with the northern border well into America Inglese. Alaska is America Russa and eastern Canada is Nova Brettagna. The map extends to include the Azores, Iceland, Faroe Island, Scotland and part of Ireland. In the U.S. the rivers and mountains are well developed, but the Great Basin is not named. This rare issue carries no attribution but we believe it is by the Italian Carlo Rossari of Milan based on the holdings of an Italian institution.
