This pair of large folio maps combines to show the western half of the Iberian peninsula, extending to include Madrid and the northern tip of Morocco. There is great detail of towns of various sizes, the larger of which are depicted with miniature bird's-eye plans, roads, rivers and the topography of the land. Each map stands on its own with full borders and separate titles.

Nice impressions on watermarked paper with wide margins, toning and a few small spots. The northern sheet has one small hole near Santillana and a couple of small holes in the blank margins. The southern sheet has a light damp stain that enters 1" into map at bottom, as well as several tears that just enter map border at bottom that have been closed on verso with archival tape.
