This lovely copper engraved carte-a-figures map covers France and displays the various regions in lovely color. Ten figures flank the left and right side of the map showing the King, Queen, merchant, lawyer and a farmer to name a few. Above the map are eight town plans including Paris, Orleans and Bordeaux. Imprint of George Humble in the title cartouche. English text on verso.

Condition: B+

Nice impression and color on watermarked paper with light centerfold toning, a 0.5" separation at top, and a few small repairs to the centerfold on verso. Remargined at bottom with neatline in facsimile.
