This map depicts the entirety of Egypt, with parts of Palestine, Syria, Jordan, and Saudi Arabia. Many notations are included on the map, mostly relating to Napoleon's campaign in Egypt around 1800. The route taken by the French Army is shown with a dotted line, and other significant places, such as the location of "well fresh water" and "where Juvenal died about the year 128," are noted as well.
