The fortified city appears in the middle of the view, surrounded by forests, fields, and outlying towns. Ehrenbreitstein and Helfenstein castle are included in the distance. A coat of arms and elaborate ribbon-style cartouche dedicates the map to Archbishop-Elector Johann V. von Isenburg. Engraved by Hans Rudolph Manuel. German text on verso.
