These two decorative maps on one sheet show regions in the Aisne department in Northern France. The first centers on Saint Quentin with a lovely title cartouche and a scale of miles held by a musketeer. The second map includes the cities of Marle, La Cappelle, and Vervins and is decorated with a title cartouche, a distance scale cartouche, and a legend. A fine example of Blaeu's work, with the imprint of both Willem and Johannes Blaeu. German text on verso.
