Fascinating folio sheet with French text, two maps and four views. Carte du Mexique shows Central Mexico and the Environs du Lac de Mexique features the vicinity of Mexico City with its islands in the lake connected by bridges. The four views include a panorama of Mexico City, one of the large Aztec Temple, and two showing various ceremonies including human sacrifice. All surrounded by descriptions in French.
