This map of northern Germany is centered on Hanover and includes the cities of Gottgen, Hamburg and Osnabruck. There is fine detail of forests, mountains and the Elbe River. The large cartouche is surrounded with many figures and in the opposite corner is a small landscape. Engraved by Tobias Conrad Lotter in his characteristic bold engraving style.
There is a small spot near the center of the map and some light soiling primarily in the blank margins.
