This is an attractive copper engraving of the continent with good detail of the coastline. The major rivers and some interior features are shown, although there are still scattered spurious mountain ranges filling much of the continent. The western coast of Africa is shown along with portions of the Caribbean and Central America, and there is a large decorative title cartouche.
Strong impression on thick paper with original outline color. There is some very minor scattered foxing and a few faint spots.
