This fascinating engraving from Johann Hubner's Conversations-Lexicon provides a wealth of information on coats of arms. It depicts over ninety illustrations of the various "old" and "new" forms for coats of arms along with their names, as well as the types of ornamentation that is associated with these shields. A very unique piece.
