This detailed map of Minorca, one of the Balearic Islands off the coast of Spain, was drawn shortly after the Spanish regained control of the island from the British during the Seven Years War. The map shows detail of roads, coastline, castles and topography. There is also an inset of Fort St. Philips, which served to protect the harbor that led to the capital city of Mahon.

Condition: B

There is some scattered damp staining and occasional small spots with an extraneous crease at lower right. Issued folding and now flat.
