A beautiful map of the Burgundy area, known for its production of wine, fully engraved with mountains, forests and fortifications. The map extends to include Geneva and includes a legend at bottom. The large, decorative title cartouche features a Queen supporting the Royal coat of arms of France, putti engaged in wine-making, and a river god spilling a vessel of water to symbolize the rivers of the region..
