Each map is a study in precision engraving, with exceptional detail. Of the maps, four are celestial (including a fine view of the moon), two are thematic, and the rest cover the continents, major countries and the polar regions. Hardbound in half leather over green cloth. Gold embossed text on cover and spine.

Contents are clean and tight. Covers show some wear with bumped edges. The top of the spine is missing and the remainder is worn and chipped. The celestial pages have a small centerfold separation that does not enter the image.
