This complete atlas contains 62 copper engraved maps, 61 being double-page, depicting both ancient and modern geography. All of the modern maps are drawn under the direction of Mr. Arrowsmith, the most preeminent English cartographer of the period. A nice set of maps, it includes two world maps, British Possessions in North America, North America, United States and the West Indies. Hardbound in brown boards with gilt title on spine. This is the atlas (Volume VI) of the Cyclopedia.
