A fine selection of engravings that show Native American life and customs, camp scenes, tools, weapons and other artifacts, pictographs, and depictions of various paraphernalia. Most are from drawings by Seth Eastman. About half are fine copper or steel engravings, the rest are collotypes, lithographs and line drawings. Includes the map "Sources of the Mississippi River" (7" x 7.8"). All engravings are approximate size given.
