This uncommon, small map covers the European part of Russia with the Duchy of Moscow and White Russian Empire. A table at lower left lists the Grand Dukes of Moscow, and at upper right is a drape-style title cartouche. The map is accompanied by a sheet of French text that describes the boundaries of "White Russia" and how it got its name, as well as information on the Grand Duke, the topography, and the main cities.
Wide margins and original outline color. Binding holes in blank margins at far left.
