This uncommon map of Germany is divided by Imperial states and depicts the theater of war from the Thirty Years' War (1618-1648), which ended with the Peace of Westphalia. A legend at bottom identifies Imperial cities, Archbishoprics, Abbeys, Universities, and encampments. The map was published in Johann Gottfried von Meiern's Acta Pacis Westphalicae Publica.
Issued folding, with lovely original color. There are a few small, faint spots in map border.
