The Map Collector magazine was founded by Ronald Vere Tooley in 1977. Over the next two decades it built a reputation as a highly respected resource on the history of cartography and collecting antique maps. Each issue contains a wealth of information written by the most respected researchers, collectors and dealers. This lot includes from issue 20 (September 1982) to the final issue 74 (Spring of 1996), plus three indexes covering issues 21-30, 31-40 and 51-60. Together 55 contiguous issues and three indexes.
