The map was engraved by the "makers of The Century Atlas" who praise it as "the best and handsomest city map we have every made." It is, in fact, quite handsome with its various colors and the fine engraving and printing for which this firm is famous. Folds into the original paper covers (3.5 x 7.4") with the same title as the map. Published by Foster & Reynolds with their office in the city located by overprinting. At the left edge red overprinting identifies this as the "Revised Edition. 1914." Inside front cover describes the Geographical Divisions, the system for Street and House numbering, and instructions on how to use the map. Price 10¢.
The is a very lovely example that is fine and flawless save for a 1/2" split at center where the map folds into covers. Covers likewise fine with the green stamp affixed for "Reid S. Baker, Ye Kodak Shop, 1322 F Street, Washington, D.C."
