This tiny map is based on the later state of Johann Baptiste Homann's map of the Americas. Drawn by Tobias Lobeck and engraved by Tobias Conrad Lotter, it is minutely engraved with an incredible amount of detail for such a small map. The northwest coast of North America is labeled Costa Terre Borealis incognitae and is completely blank except for a partial inland sea noted Pais du Moozemleck.
