This regional map was prepared for Peter the Great's survey and published by the Geographic Department of the Imperial Academy of Science. It shows the region north of the Black Sea with emphasis on the area between the rivers Bug and Dneiper. It provides a very detailed view of the rivers, lakes, and settlements. The map appeared in both Russian (Cyrillic) and Latin versions with both being very scarce.
