This map of ancient Italy including Corsica, Sardinia and Sicily is from a German edition of Cluver's popular geography. It is fully engraved to illustrate topography with ancient place names. It was engraved by Martin Hailler and published by the heirs of Conrad Bruno at the court of Wolfenbüttel.
Issued folded, now flattened, with the binding trim at lower right replaced to accommodate framing.
