Large-scale chart of the Gulf and island of Gonave and the southwest coast of Haiti, including Port-au-Prince. Filled with rhumb lines, soundings, navigational hazards, anchorages, etc. The lighthouses are colored in yellow and red, else uncolored. Originally issued in 1788, this edition includes updates to 1880. Backed with original linen with the chart seller's label of Challamel Aine, Libraire et Commissionnaire, Paris.
