Fine plan of the city surrounded with three large engraved vignettes of The Capitol, Washington Monument, and Smithsonian Institute. Names all major streets and buildings. The Washington Monument is shown in the full design envisioned by Robert Mills that includes the lower colonnade which was never built due to costs and arguments on its design.
Full margins and even ivory age toning to paper. A little light offsetting still very good.
