Copper engraved map of the region when it was a district of Massachusetts. Early county borders for York, Cumberland, Lincoln, Hancock and Washington. The Eastern Boundary of the United States with New Brunswick is a straight line from the St. Laurence south to the Bay of Funday. Chaleur Bay nearly makes an island with the Gaspe Peninsula. Locates Portsmouth, Sedwich, Trenton, Machias, Halifax, and more. Published in Boston by Thomas & Andrews and engraved by Doolittle.
