1. Nice example of Mitchell's famous school atlas with 34 maps (most with blank versos) along with tables and statistics. Nice maps of the U.S., Texas, and the West. Hardbound with pictorial paper over boards. Published by E.H. Butler & Co. Front cover stained and loose, maps generally very good, but a few with light scattered foxing, map of the West is near fine. Previous owner's name in pencil on inside blank end paper.

This "New" example of Mitchell's famous school atlas contains 44 maps (most with blank versos) including the new "Dakota, Montana & Wyoming" and the "Kansas, Colorado, New Mexico & Indian Territory." With numerous tables and statistics. Also has the nice maps of the U.S., Texas, and the West. Hardbound with pictorial paper over boards featuring children on a hillside overlooking a small sea village. Published by J.H. Butler & Co. Front cover stained and rubbed, the maps are very nice varying from fine to very good.
