A very pretty leaf from a Parisian Book of Hours. Written on very fine vellum and decorated with a wonderful border with gold ivy leaves on hairline stems, flowers, berries and green leaves. There are several initials and line fillers painted in red, blue, white and burnished gold leaf. The text is from the Office of the Dead, Vespers, Psalm 137 (138 in the KJV) Psalm [137].
