This copperplate engraved chart shows the entire island with excellent detail of villages, rivers, and topography. The towns of Yale, Harcipote, Soffregam, Vellas, Ncavar, Putelan and many more are located. A rococo-style title cartouche incorporates a distance scale. At upper right is "Tome. III. No. 3." A beautiful example.

Strong, early impression and fine hand coloring on thick paper with deckle-edge at right. Left margin a little ragged, otherwise a fine example.
