The map provides a great amount of information and includes several historical notations and two vignettes illustrating important battles in the vicinity of Braclaw (Bratslav), and near Smolensk. It also includes a detailed inset map, in two strips, of the lower part of Dnieper River. It is embellished with a sailing ship, title cartouche and coat of arms.
Original color with some oxidation of the green color. Some minor cracks have been reinforced with tissue on the verso. Overall the paper is thick and sturdy.
